Welcome to our newsletter for the first two quarters of 2009. This has been our busiest time in a decade for production.

We have been working in association with Woodgate Design for NHS Sherwood Forest PCT producing an in hospital set of touch screens exploring the history of King's Mill Hospital.
This has been a very special project for us, and involved the sound and video recording of the people of Mansfield and the stories from their past - including WWII American GIs. Slideshows, audio and video were managed using a custom management schema we designed, allowing quick updates by the client using Excel. This was then transformed via a custom XSLT into an application built using Flash and Adobe AIR. Future content management can then be performed over a secure web site.
We continue our work with the National Trust in Cumbria, in association with Chemical Design, and have produced the Derwent Water Foreshore project website.
Running on a customised build of our SiteSync solution the site features partnership schools database, embedded Google overlays produced by the NT and an image gallery.
Philip Hannaway, The National Trust said: 'Thanks for all your design work, it's the best CMS I have used'
For long term clients Community Council of Shropshire, we have produced an integrated web application for Parish Plan management.
Delivered as a dynamic database driven product called CommunityPlans, the system is connected to the public interface (main website) by the use of XML based SOAP Web Services. It is primarily used in secure mode by parish planning officers for data input and reporting. It features multiple user level login; from inception the project was managed by us using a 'light' PRINCE2 approach, with use case analysis used during the design stages.
We are pleased to annouce a site delivery for Vida, one of the UK's fastest growing agencies offering fully integrated marketing strategies using Advertising, Design, PR.
Running on a modified version of our SiteSync Enterprise, the site has membership management and secure areas as well as membership newsletter system.
Working for the Darwin Birthplace Society funded by Shrewsbury and Atcham Bourough Council Destination Shrewsbury we produced an interactive virtual tour of The Mount and new web site in time for the Darwin Bicentenary celebrations in February.
The virtual tour in '2.5D' taken from the plans was produced in Flash with content management in XML.
We have been engaged by Chris Batt Consulting for JISC, in conjunction with First Adapt and Michelle Pauli to produce a prototype knowledgebase under the working title Digipedia.
We provided systems integration and design via the use of MediaWiki with Semantic Wiki alongside semantic modelling consultancy. A knowledge map by First Adapt was overlaid onto the Wiki structure. Ongoing expert systems work for the Strategic Content Alliance.
Update: We're pleased to announce a site launch (from concept to live in less than a week) of the UK site for Mac Tools Europe, Stanley. Orangeleaf's Managing Director said: "I'm particularly proud of our ongoing relationship with Stanley delivering online solutions, especially the Britool and Mac Tools ranges - being a classic car enthusiast I've still got Britool tools dating back half a century".
We're pleased to announce 3 new site launches in August: an e-business system, custom e-commerce, training booking system etc for long term client RTITB
Also announcing Appletree Recruitment and Nononsense Interpretation on our SiteSync Express SME platform.
Further production announcements will follow shortly, to include Shropshire Council projects, CommunityBuildings for SERCC and Stoke and Wolverhampton Museum services using CollectionsBase platform.
