Visitor Access Points

We integrate state of the art hardware with Flash presentations and databases to produce informative, easy to use touchscreens and access point kiosks.

Glass and Steel Kiosk

This kiosk combines state of the art display technology with wireless and broadband.

We have delivered a dynamic interface, providing floor by floor information of Shrewsbury Museum in an easy to use touch interface.

The system connects to a news feed produced by our Content Management System running the museum's web site on a remote web server, and re-purposes this XML structured data for the kiosk.  Museum staff are then able to update the kiosk, via the web CMS interface, whenever they wish.

The kiosk also features a dynamic map system and survey system all driven by an XML file, with one file per language.  We are currently localising the content into multiple european languages.

The construction in steel and glass, with illumination, is very contemporary but does harmonise with its surroundings in this 14th century building.
